Familia noble polaca, la más importante de su país en el s.

XVIII, conocida como la Familia. Logró obtener amplios poderes gracias a los esfuerzos del príncipe Michal Fryderyk Czartoryski (n. 1696–m. 1775) y de su hermano August. Buscaban la promulgación de reformas constitucionales y alcanzaron su máxima influencia en la corte de Augusto III. El patrimonio familiar en Pulawy fue confiscado en 1794, durante la tercera de las particiones de Polonia. Sin embargo, continuaron ejerciendo un considerable poder, especialmente a través de los príncipes Adam Kazimierz Czartoryski (n. 1734–m. 1823), mecenas de las artes, y Adam Jerzy Czartoryski (n. 1770–m. 1861), quien dedicó sus esfuerzos a la restauración de Polonia.
